Prime Area Arrangement on Jalan Poncol Reaches 70 Percent

The prime area arrangement on Jalan Poncol, Ragunan Urban Village, Pasar Minggu District, South Jakarta has reached 70 percent.

Head of Ragunan Urban Village, Sulastriyani said the area was previously used as ilegal parking. The walls also look dull.

"We organize it by creating flora and fauna murals as the main concept to beautify and enhance the area," she said, Tuesday (12/2).

She added that the mural with a flora and fauna theme is created on a 200 meter long and two meter high wall.

"We deploy eight PPSU personnel to work on it," she added.

She continued that ornamental and productive plants were also planted to make the environment greener and more beautiful.

"The work has been running since early November 2025 and is targeted for completion in mid December," she stated.

Meanwhile, one of the residents, Nurhayati appreciated the arrangement of Jalan Pulo.

"The mural looks good. Hopefully it will eliminate vandalism also," she hoped.
